Kadima Votes on Election Day

There was a special air of excitement at Kadima on election day 2012!
In one of the best civics lessons that our school could ever provide, all of our Elementary and Middle School students took part in the "KodiaksVote" election at school on Tuesday, November 6.  There was an authentic "voter registration" process, each student received a ballot with Presidential election and special Kadima referendum choices, and a special voting booth was constructed.  Unlike Florida, our voting line was about 5 minutes tops, it was still and wonderful lesson in civic duty and responsibility.  Please see photos.

What a night and what a day! Sukkot B'Yachad Followed By Simhat Torah in School

One of the many wonderful features of Kadima is that our Judaic Studies team creates celebrations that authentically "feel" the holiday or special day, whether they be joyful celebrations or contemplative days or memorials.  Over the last two days, the Kadima community has "stepped up" with two biggies for the year, our communities "Sukkot B'Yachad" event for our families and Simchat Torah in school.  And, both celebrations were truly amazing.
